The idea behind the Korg Universe Sample Libraries

Perhaps Korg created more synth classics than any other manufacturer. To find and buy all those classics like 700S, PS-3100, Polysix, etc for to use them in the own recording studio might be a real challange for a Korg fan.

So Klaus P. Rausch, Back In Time Records mastermind, and Michael Filgraebe, former manager of the german Korg distributor, thought that there is another practical solution: "Samples are fine too! Right on, let's go ahead!"

The project work took weeks and months with instrument listings, sound programming, audio recordings, sampling, editing, compiling, Presets making.

The result is maybe the very best classic korg sound collection which is available for samples. And nobody needs to tweak and turn any knob on the original instrument! The PDF booklet is fat and comprehensive, we wanted to come up with as many as possible pictures and instrument informations. No one wants to play the sounds without knowing how the instruments looks.
